As most of you know, my mom recently finished all her treatments for breast cancer. She has been extremely fortunate that she only lost her hair and a breast to this disease. Many more women that you and I both know are not so fortunate. That’s why research is so important. It is through this kind of fundraising that my mom and thousands of other women in Canada have hope that a cure will indeed be found. Until then, let’s do our part to help push this research forward!

And while doing that, remember the vital importance of becoming aware of breast cancer, how you can prevent it, and how you can detect it.
