Dear Friends, I am sorry for not getting back to you all much sooner than I would like. Things are very hectic these days, as they have been for some time. For a little update on what is going on in my life here is a quick snapshot:

My Dad is back in the hospital again. This is the fourth major trip since March 2007. This time he is having heart trouble, which is really not fun. The doctors are not able to give him dialysis because his blood pressure is dangerously low – here is the catch, there is too much fluid around his heart, thus causing the trouble – dialysis would be a solution. The problems feed one another. Surgery seems to be the only way to relieve the pressure. They are planning on taking a portion of the “heart sack” to enable the “fluid” to drain.

Rebecca and I are moving in March. We have been planning the move, making arrangements with movers (We’ve chosen el Cheapo – more to come…) the phone company, cable, utility companies, new landlords, old landlords, and changing all of our IDs. I have things all over the place, in storage, at my parents house etc. too. I’ll be pleased to move into the new house. We are moving to Cabbage Town, full details will be sent out soon. I can’t wait to have the gang over for some backyard BBQ!

As for the rest of my life, well, other than constant stress, I am pretty happy. One by one I will reconnect with you, I promise!
